Willard E. Rhodes of Seattle, whose Miss Thriftway missed the Gold Cup by only four seconds, said Saturday night that the boat will be entered in Eastern races later this year.

"That's one that's for sure," Rhodes declared.
The Seattle grocery executive said Miss Thriftway "very definitely" will race in the East this year.
It will depend on the condition of the boat whether she will be entered in the Silver Cup Race in Detroit this fall, Rhodes said.
But she definitely will race for the President's Cup at Washington, DC later in the fall, he said.
