Kim Gregory 1950 to 2008

To our shock and dismay, USA Racing Partners team owner Kim Gregory, 58, passed away September 2nd of renal failure. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in early August and admitted to Ronald Regan Medical Center at UCLA on August 21st. He was in Seattle for Seafair, but didn’t look as spry as usual according to one of our UNJ staff members.

Entering the sport of boat racing in 1992 with the K Boat flatbottom class, he moved to the unlimiteds after purchasing the late Steve Woomer’s race team in 1998. He will be sadly missed by everyone. He leaves his wife Debbie, their daughter Kari and two sons, Matt and Adam, who were all involved with the U-10 team in one way or another. Our hearts go out to them all.
