Philadelphian to Race; Defends Speedboat Title

New Martinsville, W. Va., Sept. 22 (AP) -— The sponsoring Magnolia Yacht Club announced today that a field of between 75 and 100 drivers of some of the fastest speedboats of the nation were expected Sunday for the eighth annual Ohio River Regatta.

The entry list for the afternoon of 100 miles of racing includes So Long, a craft driven by Lou Fageol, Kent. O., who last year won the Ohio River Gold Cup race. Dr. Martin Haurin, Philadelphia, driving Gooch II will be present to defend the 225 cubic inch hydroplane crown he won last year.
