Lap - Such Crust I 98.164
(The Harmsworth Trophy is a contest among nations, in this instance between Canada and the United States. This contest was determined after the U.S. won two straight heats. However different boats had won these heats for the United States. Still at stake was which boat would hold the Harmsworth Trophy with the traditional right to select the site for the next race. Thus Skip-A-Long and Such Crust I came out on August 1 to compete in a two lap race - normal distance was six laps - to settle the matter. Skip-A-Long won the race and thereby took possession of the Harmsworth Trophy out to San Francisco.)
